Four Wheelers & Hot Fudge Sundae Day!

It's been a busy week, and one of the fun things that was done was go to our friends. George's friend Joey let Scott, George and Emilie ride on his big four wheeler, and boy did they have fun. They have a huge big property with horses and Joey likes to ride around in endless fun and help his mom around the property by moving things with his big four wheeler. The kids had a lot of fun together and are excited to play again! Scott did not mind at all being the adult in charge of driving and went way too fast beyond my comfort zone. He said he'd go slow without a helmet, but did he? No, he did not! They thoroughly enjoyed it though, and Emilie and George kept begging for more rides even when it was time to go!

In other news, we're planning on a big family reunion trip, which will be very nice. Scott plans to go fishing with his dad, and I have no idea what we'll do while we hang around. After we'll have a packed schedule of fun activities and helping Scott's sister Jenni and her family get settled in their home. I'm looking forward to a date night with Scott while his mom has lovingly agreed to baby sit all the grandchildren, getting to see the beauty of Utah, spending time in a smaller family reunion setting, and digging in to some Culver's custard! Lots to look forward to. We're also thinking of having a pre-birthday celebration there for George so he'll be with more family to celebrate! Not something fully planned, but thinking of for something fun and light.

My mom hasn't "moved up" yet for her resort stay in the mountains while her boat sells, but she has gotten to stay with us for a while Scott went on business. George and Emilie are now completely tanned from being naked in the sun, playing on their new slip and slide, and new children's pool. I'd show you pictures, but I didn't take any because they were in the nude! Just assume they've been having tons of fun in the sun. Also news is that today is Hot Fudge Sundae Day! We celebrated all together down the hill yesterday at Ghirardelli's ice cream parlor. I was blown away that we spend $14 for something that could have fed one person. Apparently $14 ice cream sundaes are not to share! We did anyway though, and my, it was still so tasty!
