Nana arrives...
This
morning, George pushed a chair and waited by the locked door at the top
of the stairs, waiting for daddy and I to unlock it so he could see and
visit Nana. He was very dismayed that the door was locked... Emilie
wasn't torn either way.
Nana
is making great progress and is feeling better every day, since the day
after her surgery. Recovery is going great for my mom, and she's almost
completely independent and able to move mostly on her own. Staying on
top of her pain meds is vital, but as long she stays on top of it, she's
doing great! Moms really doing far better than I expected with coming
out of invasive surgery, though she's doing far worse than she thought
she would be doing! No mom, they cut your muscles apart and shoved a
titanium crowbar down your leg, you're doing fabulous with all
considering!!! Anyway, she loves it up here with George and Emilie and
is especially enjoying our good weather outside. Her favorite pass time
is sitting on the porch, watching her grandkids and dog playing and
watching the rolling hills with wildlife. We're enjoying her company
very much, and George and Emilie are loving her being here (as well as Scott and I :))!
Emilie
has been doing really well colic-wise and has been snoozing so much.
Here, in the pic above, Emilie woke up and George crawled in under the
covers with her on the couch. They're doing so great and are growing so
fast!!! *Hugs and squishes their little faces* I LOVE YOU!!!!
