Cousin Tom and his good ol' Drone

Picture
Yes, George has both hands in his mouth. The Drone is that exciting ... and terrifying ;)
My cousin Tom was in town and decided to drop by today. We had a splendid time chatting and catching up, and mom (aka Nana) was thrilled for the surprise visit! George and Emilie were quite excited too, especially when cousin Tom whipped out his very own DRONE!!!! Oh my goodness, was it cool. His very expensive specialty drone got us an amazing video of a panoramic view of our whole property, along with some cool snap shots. Tom loves flying it and I can see why; you can see everything and feel like a bird, watching the video! I would post more pics on here, but I'm withholding them for privacy reasons since anyone can view this blog! Well, it's been an awesome day. Emilie finally warmed up to Tom (though she's quick to the "bottom lip stick out quiver" still!) and George flirted from a distance by destroying the house with his foam base ball bat (he only got 6 hours last night). After this big day, both of them are out (*me doing the "SAFE!" referee signal*). Yep, it's been a good day. Tomorrow Tom will be off again in his high tech RV (and I mean high tech, with solar panels and everything) to go visit more family. We wish him a safe trip with many pictures and fun adventures. Thank you for visiting Tom!

Tomorrow we'll be off to take Lucky (our dog) to an appointment. Since we took him back from my mom, he's been doing well, but recently has gone down hill a lot. Failing kidneys and hurting teeth are no fun... I won't go into more detail, but our poor dog has been better... He's happy to run around leashless and free (every dogs dream), but like any old person, once you reach retirement, doing the things you always wanted to do is less fun because you're body just isn't like it once was. It sucks. Wish us luck (and pain meds for him) for tomorrow.
