With Scott's family in town, we proceeded with Emilie's Baby Blessing, which was a much looked forward to event! Emilie smiled beautifully and looked around as her daddy, grandpa and Uncle Derek, home teacher and bishopric surrounding her in the front of the church, held, and blessed her. It was so exciting and Scott was totally nervous, but the blessing was beautiful <3

George and Sloan (George's cousin) both had fun at church, and Sloan made friends and had a blast at Primary. After church we gathered outside and let the kids play and run around. It was so beautiful despite it being winter, so why not?

Today, George had his first motorcycle ride too! He saw Grandpa doing loops around the property and was begging like crazy for a spin around. Because of Scott's fond memories of his dad taking him on his own first ride (when he himself just began to walk), I aloud George to build a fond memory with his grandpa... on the one condition that they took a picture! Thank you Lynette! ;)

They made a full loop, twice around our driveway and private end road. Sloan also got her turn, too and grinned away as well as they made a not-too-fast go about. I must say that George and Sloan have been having a great time. It's been fun seeing them interact and play and just have fun. Sloan tolerated George very well too, despite George has grown a lot since she last saw him and he's no longer a incapacitated newborn! Toddler boys can be hard for young girls to handle, as I've witnessed with George only having girl cousins on both sides of the family. Girls are made with sugar and spice and everything nice, and boys are made with fresh air, earthy mud and puppy dog tails! Girls and boys are totally physiologically different as the books by John Gray clearly states and explains! They can get along together in harmony though if they just understand that one concept and have respect though.
