Emilie's Milestone And News On Baby Goats

Starting last week, Emilie has started grabbing her feet, as well as suddenly becoming a pro at rolling!!! Imagine my shock as she's suddenly rolling to the right and rolling to the left after changing her diaper in the trunk?! Maybe it was all the curves in the road as we went to visit some of our friends, but it happened all in an instant. Emilie can now roll from her back to belly, and belly to back, as well as left to right and right to left!  As for Emilie grabbing her feet, it happened suddenly with diaper changing her diaper as well. I guess after seeing your feet put in the air again and again, it gets one curious about them! She is now loving to grab her little feet!

More exciting news is that we will be bringing our baby goats home this Saturday. They're two months old, and our friends are giving them a week to wean from their mommy. They are both darling little Boer goats, both horned. They love to frolic and bounce around. It's so exciting to be expecting them so soon, and we've already got their coral up and ready, have treats and almost have their shelter ready. We're gearing up for names so if you have any ideas, please tell us! I think we'll have to get to know them and see their personalities till we can really pick their names, but it is sure fun coming up with ideas.
