Visiting Nana and the Boat Races

Yesterday we visited Nana and got to see the Wednesday boat races! We had a fun time with Nana, and though she's still hurting, she's doing much better and improving slowly day by day. She enjoyed having us, and we enjoyed having some time all together!

As we walked by the ocean, George loved to run along on the grass and toughly enjoyed seeing the waves crash and lap against the rocks, and seeing the many, many sail boats! His favorite sail boat had a bright blue sail and was twice as big as half of the sail boats out there. His other favorite thing by the bay, was an old hallowed out tree, who's bace split into main trunks, giving a nice space for him to fit right in the middle! I discovered yesterday, the magic word for a smile in a picture. It's not what you think it is (not "cheese!")! It's "CANDY!". I got Gorge to smile for so many pictures! So if you have kids, friends or family, it's a great word to make you smile and feel excited. Who doesn't like candy, right?

It was so nice to visit Nana, and it turned out to be lovely weather despite the rain and gloom at the beginning of the day. Thank you Nana, we love you!
