A Day After Errands!!!

Yesterday, after a day full of errands, we were able to go play at the play ground! It was admittedly ours and the kids favorite part of the day! Who would blame us after a whole days worth of driving? Both the kids had a blast climbing up slides, playing in the swings, and George's favorite was the pole/slide which lets you twirl in circles downward once you get to the top! It was really fun taking pictures of them too. George and Emilie really loved the one-on-one with daddy after his busy 6 day work week last week and it's been so nice to have him home more!

The only thing new with us, besides daddy back to his old work schedule, is that the kids now have blinds in their rooms (part of the errands yesterday). They are now finally sleeping in till 6:30am too! Who would have ever thought that that would be a delight, when I use to sleep in till noon! The blinds are rated the most kid-friendly and have no cords (a friend of a friend's child died from blind cords, and the danger is so real. It was so heart breaking.). The only downside with the roll down blinds is that the kids could break them if played with (rapid roll-up can make them fall out of place), so they're wound up first thing at wake up! Now, the only task is to get Emilie and George to let me go back to my own room to sleep at night! My hubby has been missing me as I've been sleeping full time with the kids! He really can't sleep when they come into our bed though, and I really hate staying awake until they're back to sleep, trying to get back to our own bed. It'll take some planning, but I need to get back to my own bed! Ah, the dilemma of parenthood... They're totally worth it though :)
