Aunt Jenni and Uncle Derek

Recently, we had my sister-in-law Jenni over with her beautiful family for Easter weekend. Emilie immediately took to Jaron and started showing it by strangle hugging him. Eden and Emilie are in the "terrible 2/3's" so it's basically all out girl war for them at the moment (they'll be the best of friends in a few years) with stealing each others dolls during play and running away (ok, that's more Emilie!) laughing maniacally (seriously, that's Emilie). George bonded more with Eden this time around and really missed them when they all had to travel back home.

Overall with just 2-3 days, we had a blast! The first day we had an Easter Egg hunt after the kids dyed eggs with Jenni's help, and Scott and I actually got a date night in, yeay! The second day we had a blast going down the hill to the beach, where the kids played in the water, made sand castles and Emilie and Jaron ate sand! We also got an amazing tour of Scott's work, with even a new building finished there! Besides that we were able to get in some nice chatting, naps, and house shopping for Jenni and Derek who plan on moving and upgrading homes soon! It was so nice to visit and we loved having them over! We are plotting to start up our own yearly family reunion though, so we'll see how it goes!
